2. Using Our Services

Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and effective training environment for both dogs and their handlers.

No Guarantees:
Every dog is different, and training results depend on many factors like temperament and consistency at home. We do our best to guide you, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

Training Approach:
Our instructors choose the most appropriate tools and techniques for each dog. This may include different types of collars or training approaches depending on the situation.

Safety First:
If a dog displays behaviour that may pose a risk to others, we may need to remove the dog from class to maintain a safe environment.

3. Class Guidelines

  • Classes are approximately one hour long.
  • Please arrive on time. If you're running late, let your trainer know as soon as possible.
  • Payment is required at registration to secure your spot.
  • Please do not feed your dog for at least 6 hours before class to help maximize focus and engagement.
  • Missed classes are not refundable and still count toward your sessions.
  • Class times or schedules may change if needed.
  • Guidelines may be updated from time to time.

4. Conduct & Respect

  • We have zero tolerance for abuse or aggression toward dogs or people. This may result in immediate removal from training.
  • Please keep your dog under control at all times.
  • Be respectful and courteous to instructors and other participants.
  • We welcome different viewpoints—respectful discussion helps everyone learn.
  • Please use the instructor's contact details for training-related communication only.

5. Participation & Responsibility

Dog training involves some level of risk. By participating, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily.

You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour and for following the instructor's guidance to help maintain a safe environment for everyone.

AK9 Canada is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during participation in training activities.

6. Photos & Videos

We may take photos or videos during training sessions. These may be used on our website, social media, or in promotional materials.

By participating, you give us permission to use this content. All media remains the property of AK9 Canada.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including but not limited to blog posts, articles, text, images, videos, logos, branding, and training materials—is the property of AK9 Canada and is protected under applicable Canadian copyright laws.
